I was playing around with the idea of creating a more neon styled UI, matching the more cyberpunk theme of the game. I also thought of creating different types of UI depending on if you have day time or night time and tested these ideas out. I didn't want the UI to stand out too much but also thought it would bring some diversity to the menus. Because you spend quite a bit of time in your skill tree, or at least it is intended that you do, diversity might be nice as a visual extension for the player and their experience navigating through the menus.
